“By the might of trees and the strength of the ground itself.”
The Wardens are the most openly supported guild in Torhal. Their goals are openly stated and lead to the betterment of everyone. They believe in balance above all things, and with so much destruction and exploitation in the world, they have become a beacon of hope to the beleaguered. A dark truth hides in their order though. Balance must be established and maintained at all costs, and should the region ever come to an absolute peace, the Naturalists are prepared to bring balance back on the side of chaos as well. The naturalists channel the might of beasts, the growth of trees, and the force of weather itself to accomplish their goals.
The Power of an Inner Beast
Bambuk recognizes that everyone has two sides. The caring and nurturing side of a mother tending to its babies, and the unstoppable rage of the same mother defending them. The wardens channel beasts to fuel themselves in battle, and the plants around them for growth. Balance will always come from their training, as they are taught to heal and harm, to destroy and create. This duality is their power.
How they Play
Bambuk will bring balance to the battlefield. Where there was only life, there will be life and death. Where there was wrongdoing there will be right. The Naturalists are not purely offensive or purely defensive, they always have dual abilities. Siphoning life from an enemy to a friend, striking with retribution against those who inflict pain on others, and bringing power to the powerless are all hallmark’s of a Naturalist style.
The Quintessential Naturaist
The Archer is an elf who lives in harmony with nature. Wherever he goes, nature flourishes, and those who would work against him wither. A duality of flying arrows and whirling blades, the Archer is prepared for anywhere the chaos of battle may place him. He is equally at home going toe to toe with an enemy warrior, or sniping him down when he turns and flees.
